So... I had never had Pizza Hut until this weekend. At a home in Ontario this weekend, somebody ordered Pizza Hut and I found it so good that I actually couldn't get over the craving for more. So as soon as I came home I decided to order some.
I ordered online, which worked out great - the pizza was ready right when it said it would be and I had no problems using the website on my phone.
The staff member at this location where I picked up was super friendly. And the pizza was just as I remembered it and satisfied my craving. Man is the stuffed crust GOOD!
Pizza Hut is by no means gourmet. But sometimes you just want run of the mill fast food esque pizza, and this certainly fills that craving. Mmm. -

One star is for the friendly and awesome delivery guy and the second star is for the macaroni and cheese with bacon to which I love. The rest of my order was very disappointing with the pepperoni burnt and lacking cheese- even though it was supposed to have extra cheese, he honey garlic wings were bare of sauce in some parts, and they forgot to send marinara sauce for the breadsticks which seems to be a reoccurring thing. I won't be ordering from here anymore.

I used to love Pizza Hut (and really I love pizza in general) but the experience really varies from location to location. We placed this order online for four pizzas. First of all, their $5 promotion code wasn't working, so we had to call to troubleshoot that. We made a few special requests in terms of adding extra bacon and removing the ground beef. If you've never used the online ordering before, it's very clear that you can choose to remove and add toppings - it's not just a matter of having one giant text box and adding your comments haphazardly where the person on the other end could skip reading this. Adding and removing toppings shows up right next to each pizza choice on my end.
So I was definitely surprised to find no bacon on my pizzas, and extra ground beef. Urg... none of what I like and more of what I don't like. I guess this was my mistake for not checking the pizzas while picking up (always check your order before leaving the restaurant, kids). Another gripe - the pizzas were cut so unevenly (see photos). Some giant pieces that were nearly a quarter of the medium pizza, and other teeny tiny slices. Terrible execution on spreading out the toppings, too - some slices barely had any cheese on them.
To be fair, the employees behind the counter were very friendly, which is why it gets 2 stars from me. A great personal interaction can make up for so many mistakes. But this was not quite enough to overcome all the other issues with the pizzas themselves. It's an extremely convenient location for me but I'm not sure if I'd order from them again... going to try and find some more mom and pop shops around Oliver. -

So I complained to corporate about this franchise and I am now going to call the police and have them charged with harassment. I have received more than 12 calls and more than 4 voicemails. Ridiculous for corporate to refer the problem back to the people who caused it in the first place. Stupidity at its best.

I love pizza and am not very picky about it, but the customer service of this particular location has left a lot to be desired...
Once I was waiting at the location for my food to be cooked when a middle-aged female customer came in. She was clearly in a rush and a bit rude, and when she found out that all the food there was cooked fresh and she would have to wait, she stated that she wasn't able to wait, and she left. Once she was gone from the building, the employee who had conversed with her shouted "BITCH, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO ORDER!" at the top of his lungs, while I sat in the waiting area a few feet away from him. Was a bit...surreal.
I've also personally dealt with a different employee who could barely understand English and had no idea what stuffed pizza rollers were, in spite of them being clearly indicated on the menu in store. It was a bit frustrating having to explain the product/menu to a staff member.
The pizza itself is...alright. It's more expensive than most competitors in downtown Edmonton and of poorer quality though. I've found that their large and medium pizzas tend to have noticeably undercooked centers. And their deals almost always focus on the Panormous, which I'm not a fan of at all because it is pretty much all crust and no cheese, sauce or toppings. Their Wingstreet boneless wings are pretty decent but occasionally have too much breading.
In summary, their food is functional, but there are tons of better pizza places in the area to chose from, and their service is quite poor.
